About

Coming from a 'horsey' background, my mum rode to a high level on ponies until she went to university and my uncle competed at the top level in both eventing and showjumping. I have ridden for as long as I can remember, but only started pursuing showjumping professionally when I moved to Belgium in 2015 after my A-Levels. Originally working for my 'keep' and training, I was based at a handful of yards around Belgium for 4 years. Competing and producing horses was a great learning opportunity, allowing me to travel to some great national and international shows around Europe. In 2019, having learnt so much from my time abroad, I felt it was time to move back to UK to focus more on our yard at home and the string of homebred horses that had continued to build up. Moving back to the UK, although a difficult decision at the time, has allowed me to really focus on the facilities and breeding back in Leicester. Since moving back we have made massive upgrades to the yard:

  • Expanding to 20 boxes and 3 large youngstock pens

  • Building a 70x40m showjumping arena with attached canter track

  • Resurfacing and adding LED floodlights (Thanks to LiteMyRide) to our existing 25x55m dressage arena

  • Building 3 sand turnout pens which can function as a loose jumping arena

  • Building a large lunge pen and horse walker

These upgrades have facilitated the training of our own and our clients horses to the highest standard in a safe and relaxed environment, allowing us to continue to breed and produce horses up to 150cm level.
