Breeding

It's a family affair

All beginning with my Grandad and Grandma, breeding horses has always been an important part of our my life with horses. Starting off breeding horses for my uncle to compete on, successfully breeding both top eventers and showjumpers from their yard near Winchester. We have more recently concentrated all of our breeding to Leicester, now breeding around 4/5 foals a year which all are kept on site until they are broken and assessed around 3/4 years old. This has meant that I have always been in a very lucky position with a nice string of horses always coming through, unfortunately we cannot keep them all though, so the horses that I don't think will suit me or that are not destined to jump bigger fences are still broken sympathetically so we are hopefully left with nice allrounders that will make someone very happy.
